Our Equipment
NewHeights Aerial Photography utilizes a remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS), also referred to as drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), to create unique images and videos for our clients.Aside from drones, we also use a 45-foot tall telescopic mast (tripod) with a Nikon camera mounted on a remote-controlled gimbal. This setup can be used for time-lapse photography, and in situations where the condition is not suitable for drones, or in no-fly zone areas.
Our Photographer-Pilot
Andy studied Commercial Photography at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. As a certified Transport Canada Advanced RPAS pilot, he trained to operate and fly remote-controlled (RC) aerial photography helicopters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He then established NewHeights Aerial Photography in Calgary, Alberta in 2009.
